JAMB Boss. Prof. Ishaq Oloyede Accused Of N3.5 Billion Fraud

Report has it that the current JAMB boss, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede (who is the immediate past VC of Unilorin) and the incumbent, Vice chancellor of the university of ilorin, prof Abdulganiyu Ambali have been accused of N3.5 Billion Fraud.

This followed petition by the Academic Staff Union of the Universities, chapter of the University to EFCC.

According to the petition which was titled: ''Complaint of fraudulent practices by Professor IO Oloyede and professor AG Ambali as immediate past and current vice chancellors respectively of the University of Ilorin: pension fraud and other financial and economic crimes/'' the duo were said to have been involved in pension fraud, unremitted deductions exortionn from students, contract inflation and kickbacks, as well as unlawful payments to ex-principal officers of the University

The JAMB Boss has however denied the accusations stating that he operated a transparent system within the perion he served the university as vice chancellor. he called on the anti-graft agency EFCC, to investigate the allegations and take necessary action establishing the truthfulness of the case brought before it by the union.

With this new development, candidates awaiting the announcement of 2017 UTME registration can only pray and hope that this does not slow down the pace of things
