Neco Nove/Dec 2016 Examination Results Have Been Released

Report in the internet is that the National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2016 Senior School Certificate Examinations. The Registrar and Chief Executive of NCO Pro. Charles Uwakwe, who disclosed this today in Minna also revealed that the results were released exactly 60 days after the exams. ''A total of 47, 941 candidates registered, out of which 47, 118 sat for the exams and the number of candidates with five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, put 28, 530 (60.55%).'' He stated. he advised candidates to access their results on the NECO website: www.mynecoexam.com, using their Examination Registration Number and scratch cards. The Computer -Based Test Centres Proprietors Association of Nigeria (CPAN), has raised alarm over the selling of fake 2017 JAMB Registration g to the Chairman of the association CO According to the Chairman of the association Comrade Chidiebere Egboh the fraudsters also collect money from their victims promising them of placing them in ''Special Centres'' to cheat during UTME. He described this as dangerous and called on prospective candidates to be careful as JAMB is yet too commence registration, ''The fraudsters play fast one and extort N15, 000 and above from thousands of unsuspecting prospective JAMB candidates. ''The consequences are that the fraudsters will elope with candidates money and they will not have genuine centres to write the examination''. ''The issue of 'special centres' had been clamped won. FUNAI Matriculates 1.500 For 2016/2017 Session

The Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi state has matriculated 1,500 students for the 2016/2017 academic session. This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba during the matriculation ceremony of the University held on Wednesday 25th January, 2017. it was learnt that the freshmen are the 5th set of the students of the University. Unlike in previous years, this year's event was decentralized to faculties, with the Deans of Faculty overseeing the ceremony on behalf of the Vice Chancellor of their various faculties. The Vice Chancellor advised the new students to avoid all manners of campus attractions and face their study squarely to avoid regrets at the end. He further reminded them that the University has zero tolerance to cultism, examination malpractice, , prostitution, Drug abuse, sex and marks and other social vices, advising students to mind their studies and be of good behaviour if they intend to succeed in the University.
