PMB revealed 4 reasons Bigeria is in trouble, Nigerians react

President Muhammadu Buhari recently made revelations regarding the affairs of Nigeria, in a chat with to rate Nigerian professionals based in the United States of America, Buhari exposed why the Country is in really big trouble.

Buhari's Dilema

Below are four major reason why Nigeria is in a very dilemma, as revealed by President Buhar.

1. We didnot save for the rainy days

Buhari noted at the parly with the professionals, that past leaders failed to save for the troubled times which Nigeria is currently experiencing.

he said "For example, between 1000 and 2015. when we [roduced an average of 2.1 million barrels of oil per day, and oil [ricess stood at and average of $100 per barrel, we did not save, neither did we develop infrastructure. Suddenly, when we came in 2015, oil pricess fell to about 30 dollars per barrel.

" I asked; where are the savings? There were none. Where are the railways? The roads? None, I further asked; what did we do with billions of dollars that we made over the years? They said we bought food. Food with billions of dollars? I did not believe, and still do not believe.''

2.In most parts of Nigeria, we eat what we grow

President Buhari noted that within the psst yeas, the leaders were not innovative enough to develop the nation infrasructural wise, He stressed that all we did was grow what we and our children alone will eat.

"people in the South eat tubers, those in the north eat grains, whic they plant, and those constitute over 60 percent of what we eat. So, where did the billions of dollars go?We did a lot of damage to ourselves by not developing infrastructure when we had the money"
Buhari said.

3. Our millitary lacked leadership

Bujari noted in his speech that prior to his coming in millitary was, the millitary was operated on a very low morale and lacked leadership. He however added that the present administration: "raised the morale of our military, changed the leadership, re-eiquipped and retrained them; USA, Britain, and some other countries helpd us, and today, the pride our military is restored.

"Boko Haram ran riot, killing innovent people in churches, mosques, markets, schools, motor parks, and so on. And they would then shout Allahu Akbar. But if they truly knew Allah, they would not do such evil. Neither Islam, nor any other religion I know of, advocates hurting the innocent. But they shed innocent, killed people in their thousands. Now, we have dealt with that insurgency, and subverted their recruitment base"

4. Those who stole Nigeria's money are angry

the president said one major problem affecting nigeria at this time, is the fact that many of those who stole the nations's purse are angry and would not go want to go down without a fight.

"Those who stole Nigeria dry are not happy. They recruited the militants against us in the Niger Delta, and began to sabotage oil infrastructure. We lose millions of barrels per day, at a time when every dollar we earn, counts. It is a disgrace that a minimum of 27 states, out of 36 that we have in Nigeia, can't pay salaries,"
President Buhari said.
