4 Ways To Access Your Computer If You Have Forgotten Your Password

You can't login into your because you don't have the password? it's frustrating to be lock out of your computer, especially when you need access to important files. Fortunately, there are many simple options for logging into your Mac or PC without having the password.

1. Changing Your Windows 8 or 10 Online
Use a different computer to access the Live.com password reset website. In the web browser on a different computer, visit https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx. Once the sit loads, select ''i forgot my password'' then click ''Next'' Then follow the onscreen options to resetting your password.

This method will only work if you registered a Microsoft account when setting up your computer and use it to log into your computer. Setting up a Microsoft account was the default setting, so you probably did this (unless you manually selected different option)

2. Changing Your Windows 8 or 10 In Safe Mode
Restart the computer from the login screen: This restart is a little different thran the kind people normally perform. Boot to the login screen, then click the Power icon down the Shift key on the keyboard as you click ''Restart''. This is the first of two restarts you'll perform in order to boot into Safe mode.
Once the computer restarts, choose the restart option, you'll be brought to a screen that says ''Choose an option.'' Click ''Troubleshoot.'' the ''Advanced options.'' then ''startup Setting.'' Click ''Restart'' to boot the machine into a new option screen.
The computer will now boot to a safe mode login screen.
Next is to choose the choose an account called ''Administrator''
Open the user Accounts Control panel by Pressing Win + X ''control panel'' then ;;user account''
Click on manage account
Click on Change password, your will need to enter your password twice to confirm the password.

3. Resetting Your Windows Password With A Password Reset Disc
Find the password reset disc your previously created: This method is only useful if you created password reset CD or USB flash drive at a prior date. This method work on all versions of Windows beginning with Windows 7. 
Try signing into Windows: if you type the wrong password, you'll see an error that says ''Username or Password is incorrect ''Click ''OK''
Insert your password reset disc and click ''Reset password''. This will launch password Reset Wizard, which you will start by clicking ''next''
Choose password location key: next on the screen is to Type in New password, confirm the password by typing it in two times. Click finish and the password manager will appear on the screen, follow the onscreen option and exit the password manager and your password will be reseted right away.

4. Using a Separate Administrator Account To Change Your Password On A Mac.
Log into an administrator Account: If you have an administrator account that is separate from your personal account on your man, you can access your profile setting from there,
Open system preferences: if a lock symbol appears, click on it and enter the administrator log on information again. Then click the ''users & Groups'' icon
Select the account you're locked out of: Click the Reset password button, follow the prompts, and enter a new password. When you or the user of the account login after the password reset, they'll have to update or reset the password themselves.
